Secret Codes

If you have a SARA box, access the info pages using the front panel buttons, or using the remote.

Using the buttons on the front of the box:
With the Explorer powered on, press and hold the button between the volume and channel buttons. When the "email" light starts to blink, press the "info" button. Use the volume up and down buttons to view the info pages.

OR

Using the remote:
Hold the PAUSE button on the remote for 10 seconds When the green light blinks, press the Page up button to see the info pages.

Save to VCR

The save to VCR function only works on some models of SARA Explorers. If the feature works, connect a VCR to the second set of outputs, and select the Save to VCR feature from the play menu and follow the instructions. Note that the PIP window can only be used to monitor the recording progress while you are dubbing.
If the feature doesn't work - simply play back the show you want to record in the PIP window. Any content that is displayed in the PIP window is also available on the second set of video outputs. You have to keep the PIP window open while the dub is in progress.
